Ron I e-mailed you.James Salisbury was not good sanded in bad!will not get up that way till next week.

Wasn't that great this past weekend either George. Can't wait for summer to bring new finds to the beaches.
I got permission to hunt in a small cornfield in NH this past weekend. You and Ron will have to give me some pointers the next time I run into you because I didn't have much luck.
I am hoping to get out sometime this week... will let you know how I do.

In May the prom's start, Salisbury+Hampton will start to see more people then.June thing's really get going!! I did very well last June and July was great!! I'm hitting A few schools and parks today been getting a few ring's there lately and assorted jewlery.James if you can try the field in Lowell were the carnivale is along the river. it was there last week. There is lots of clad there but trash also its a great place to learn your detector. Its always good for some silver jewlery also just disc out everything but dimes quarters and silver and you'll have a ball!! HH BH P.S THERE'S A BEACH ON THE RIVER THERE ALSO!

I will have to check out the field in Lowell you suggested.
I might go back up to the cornfield in NH this weekend. The owner pointed out on old rail that is no longer in use that intersects his property.
Said the railroad was built in the 1870's and the workers were paid in Trade Dollars although I doubt it as I think they were only used overseas.
At any rate, there are some old camps there to check out and all the iron should get me some practice with the Fisher.

got some clad a earing with a red stone ruby/garnett also a bunch of junk jewlery and a good size pocket knife (fake buck style) Ya the trade dollar thing sounds odd..but I have heard a lot of RR workers were paid in $2.50+$5.00 gold pieces.that little beach in Lowell can only be hunted early am before it opens or just before dark after its closed no detecting during hours when in use. HH BH I'm on my way to detect some more!!!
