Found this while detecting today here in Boise, Id
I googled it but couldn't find any info about the company. I would like to know when this company was in business.
 
I live in NY and googleing the name produces nothing of interest...Hmmmm...Never heard of the company, but I live in Syracuse, NY

I googled the Rome Company and found a Rome Company the was a furniture company in Rome, NY. It had subsidiaries like the Rome Brewery that was mentioned. Your Rome Tack & Nail company might have been one of those subsidiaries. It showed to have went bankrupt in 1935.
 
Have not found any info on the company but there is one like it with 5/8 tacks on ebay.
