Road trip, no loot but a great trip.

Went over Thur. to check on my Boat, it is still floating that was good. On the way I stopped at a small park I have been looking at for awhile. Went in the park to hunt the Volleyball court, but found a Beach that was pretty much grown up with weeds. The warning signs for Alligators and snakes always make you Leary going in a new place.I spent about 1 and 1/2 hours and all I found was some clad coins and junk. Will post later. Spent the night on the boat and headed to Cocoa Beach around 6am Friday.Hit the Beach at 7:15 am. Allot of soft sand and the surf was to rough to get in, after a few hours and some clad, key, sunglasses and such I gave up. I had never been to Wabasso Beach, so south I head, got to Wabasso and eat lunch, found a park with free Parking. The walkway going down to the beach was completely gone thanks to Noel. The parks Dept. had cut a slope down to the beach. The cut was about a 6 to 7 foot drop, and 3 to 4 ft. of beach sand was washed out to sea with all my Treasures. After an hour of hunting, wet sand dry sand and a short spin in the rough lane I had found one penny. Had all I could take for one day so off to home I go. All in all it was a worthwhile trip, I found a few new places I will go back to when the surf conditions are better. Here are a few pics. I took along the way.

It seems like it's been that way for a while now. I wish the conditions would change.

I'd like to find some of those fresh water swimming areas to hunt myself, regardless of the gators and snakes. ;) I guess it's time to do some research...

Better luck next time!

Loot or No Loot, it's always good to get out in the fresh air and sunshine for some exercise. It sure beats the heck out of jogging along the road. When I pass those joggers with the ears plugged into their I Pods I always want to stop my car and tell them it's okay, they've outrun whoever was chasing them.:crylol:
