Mike from Chicago and I went on a 2 day trip around the state yesterday. We had great weather, starting with this sunrise.

We each dug about 225 coins, got some date nails from 1907 to 1914, very little jewelry, none valuable.

Also got a Sacky 1 dollar and a Mexican 1 dollar coin. Had a great time, got sunburned :) Mike pulled out for Phoenix tonight and then California to see friends & relatives. He wll be checking in in a few days.
Side note = we met a Christian brother today who will be checking in to say hi here. He just bought his first detector and had a handful of coins when we met him. His name is Ken Clark. steve in so az

Steve, good to meet you and Mike yesterday. Yes, it is a God thing when Christian brothers just "happen" to meet. So, my day total was 7 quarters, 1 dime, a nickel and 7 pennies. Not bad for my second day our, but meeting new friends is priceless. God Bless, and if I can figure out this forum format (took me about 30 minutes to get this far), we'll stay in touch. Ken...

Sounds like a great trip Steve! Bet that was a lot of fun!

Did you tell Ken you've already found everything in So Arizona?

Hope you get here often! God bless! :)
