The State of NY is redoing a highway in my Village, about 500 feet from my home. Walked over the other
day and found these items in area where dirt had been removed. This was during day while they
worked. No problem, and crew came over and talked and asked how I was doing. As soon as
one started talking I knew he was also a detectorist. He has a
My friend Kenny thinks the small pocket watch could be part of a Chatelain? I don't know, it is 1" wide.
I have not tried to clean this small pocket watch yet, but will soon.
This was on April 30, and no new digging has been done since, but I see where lots of old
sidewalks are going to be removed and areas dug for new sidewalks on some
property, plus removal of dirt between current shoulder and sidewalks!
Also know that two others where there after I was.
This should keep me busy
