Does this work with the blue excalber?

Yes it work with any Excal. It goes inside the battery pod that has the AA holder in it. You simply remove the plastic AA holder and put this battery in. Note: The AA battery holder is not rated for diving. Only the Excal stock rechargeable is rated for depth encountered while diving.

I have only a few hours on mine, but it was easiest install I've done. I had to work to get the other new packs to fit and RNB's actually needs a wee bit of padding to keep it from rattling (a dry pack would work double duty).
I am really looking forward to longer life and reliability. Well worth the slightly higher cost in my opinion.

Hey Tom I'm still waiting to get a report of the life of that battery pack or is it still running on the first charge? Oh and Pismo was flat today.
