RNB battery for Garrett AT Pro

Waterdog

Well-known member
I hunted with the RNB Battery since the 6th of this month everyday and today the 19th the battery went to one bar. So it is on the charger. I was timing how long we was hunting with the battery but lost count, my watch goes to 24 hours and then starts over.

And, that is bonus. I hear they are coming out with a charger for the ATX, which uses 2 pacs. That should make some of the PI users happy.

Waterdog...so if you detected 2 hours a day then the battery would last some 26 hours. With this in mind, how many hours a day is your average hunt? If 3, then the battery would be up to 39 hours...

John...I know you were keeping track of the hours on yours...how are they stacking up?

The dual charger would be for convenience, but I don't think it will drop the price very much. A quantity discount for buying 3 batteries, one for the ATPro and two for the ATX might be a better way to go. Plus that would give one a "spare" charger as one would probably not charge all 3 batteries at one time. Just my thoughts...

Here's what I posted a few weeks back:

"16 hours and 40 minutes got me down to 2 bars. We can only guess how many more hours the battery pack would work until it completely goes dead.Maybe another 10 or 15 hours? I am happy with mine. The real bonus for me will be hunting in the cold weather."

I believe this battery gives you continued 6 volt all the time while hunting. That's s plus for me and my machine.
