RM - Fuji S1 Pro

RM do you think a Fuji S1 Pro in perfect condition is worth $600 Canadian, body only?
Thanks

When right now you can buy a D70 for $900.00 American dollars and the D70 will probably drop real soon when the shipments of the new D70s start coming out.
I'd stay away from the S-1. There is better technology available now if you can afford the slight increase in price.

I had an S1.
Made me alot of money.
Good camera for it's time but the technology is better now. I forget how many updated versions of the Super CCD that Fuji is at now. Better dynamic range and stuff.

Good to know RM. What kind of photography do you do for a living if I should be so bold to ask? Newspaper, Weddings etc...
Like I mentioned before I know when you get to the calibre of equipment that you use this is not a weekend hobby for you. I really liked the blossum picture the clarity is amazing with your new camera.
I have seen quite a few of your posts that refer to Raw mode. Does that mean an uncompressed tif? or is that the cameras own technology of an uncompressed file. Thank you RM
