river finds....

With the current heat wave, I decided to try snorkling a river where there are a lot of tubers and canoes turning over below a set of rapids.
It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, but I did manage to find a few goodies and the water felt great!!
One dime I found loose and the others were in a ziplock baggie along with some sand.
Many items have been found around this area by others in the past and I'm sure there is lots of good stuff still there.
I tried detecting it last week, but with the current and rocky bottom, it is very difficult so I figured snorkling would be the next best thing.

You Did Good...That's a good way to hunt,did it before i started detecting...lots of canoe and tubing rivers in Fla,They move quick after rains,but no rapids..But when they ban Alcohol on the river...The finds are not as plentiful... HH Good Luck
