RIVER BOTTOM HUNT

I WENT TO THE RUM RIVER YESTERDAY AND HUNTED A SAMLL PART OF THE GRAVLE BARR. THEAR WHEAR SOME HORSE FLYS , BUT NO MOSQITOES ,SEEN LOTS OF RED SUCKERS SWIMING BY AND SUN FISH, AND BIG CLAMS , AS FAR AS FINDS I WAS GETTING LOTS OF 22 SHELLS . THEY COME OFF ASS A SHORTER BEEP AT V.D.I 83 . ALSO FOUND SOME IRON SCRAPP NO COINS AT ALL. WILL HAVE TO HUNT THE CANOE CAMPGROUND ACCROSS THE RIVER . THE ONLY ACCSESS TO IT IS FROM THE RIVER BUT THE BANK IS STEEP AND 7 FT AND THE RIVER ABOUT 3 FT DEEP O WELL TRY AGAIN, GUNNAR BRADFORD MINNESOTA

Gunnar what are you doing to keep the detector dry? Be careful not to lift the coil higher than the control box. I took the shaft apart at the cam lock and sealed the shaft. I also put a rubber ring on the shaft just in front of the cam. If I ever forgot the water hits the ring and drips off rather than running on the outside of the shaft to the box. I don't have the nerve to take my MXT in the water. Rob
