General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Last November I bought a gold chain and bracelet from Morris Coker. He posts on these forums quite regularly. I sent him a $200.00 money order
and he sent me the jewelry. I tested it and the gold plating came off. I told Morris and he said "Send it back and I will send your money back to you." After about 2 weeks I contacted him again and he said that he spent the money but that he would sent it to me after he got his bonus at work in about two weeks. I wait 3 weeks no money. Morris now says he did not get a bonus but he will get my money to me soon. End of January still no money. I tell Morris sent me $ 200.00 worth of the gold jewelry that I have seen him post over the last few months. February- I contact Morris again - Now he says " I am selling a metal detector and then I will sent you the money. First part of March I contact Morris- He says - " I sold the Quattro on E-BAy and I am waiting for the money order to clear the bank and then I will send you the money." March 30th - no money yet- contact Morris- He says he lost my address and the money will be in the mail on Monday April 2nd. Sunday April 8th no money- This guy has more than ample time to pay this debt- Looks like I'm out my $200.00. Sorry about the long post but I just had to vent my frustrations. Mike
 
like I told you mike the money is on the way I sent it last week it is a long way from Florida to Washington and I have no power on how long it takes for the U.S. post office to get it there I sent you a message the day it went out last money. just chill out it is on the way.
