Rings from the beach today.

When I saw the 'gold' ring in the shallow hole I just dug in the sand this morning, I distinctively remember the adrenalin start pumping and I gave a strong YYYYEEESSSSS!!!. However, after picking it up, I distinctively remember giving a firm NNNooooooo!!!!.... I hate those cheap rings.....why do they make them look so good? LOL!!! The light weight was the first give away and then no marks.... Ah well, next time it'll be real GOLD, right!!!!!

Bummer! They never should have started making that junk! I found a ring made out of a horse shoe nail on the beach yesterday, maybe todays the day for all of us to get some gold?

Thanks Bhp....and Robert, Yep hanging onto what I got hoping that gold and silver prices make a turn-around and spike up to at least where they were. $1900 an ounce sounds better than $1200 for gold! It makes me sick to see precious metal prices so low but we just have to wait it out. BUT...on the positive side, it's a great time to buy!!!!!

I never let it not having markings keep me from testing it. Jewelry worn into the US sometimes isnt marked, its not required to be in all countries if sold in country. But being light...... ouch. Look back in the 90s at gold and silver prices..... i still wouldnt jump on any band wagon to buy at this point especially with the Feds wanting to up interest rates and the market feelling better. People were more than willing to go thru their jewelry box at $1800 ..... not so sure now as its going down.
