Rings and Coin

I agree with Monte. It has been way too slow on these forums. I for one thought that I had not gotten a good enough find to even think about posting, but here goes anyway.

Over the last month I have done pretty well on coins. From July 21st through August 16th I found 870 coins, almost all clad, for a total of $48.19. I won't bore you with a picture of common clad. BTW, the odd range of dates is the period between meetings of our treasure hunting club.

My best finds during the same period were three rings and an uncommon coin. The ring on the right is a mood ring. The other two are silver, marked 925. The coin is a 1939 German 2-Reichsmark. The silver content is 62.5%. It seems uncommon to find a pre WWII Nazi coin in a fairly new park in Southern California. You just never know what might pop out of the ground.

The second picture is the back side of the coin.

Thanks for looking,
Bob
