RING:ukflag:

The other day I found a mans wedding band to a weight of 8gm.
It registered 14-1 on the digital screen and right at the bottom middle of the smartfind screen on my Explorer SE Pro where I would expect it to be aluminium but as it gave a very good double-double note I dug it.
There are no markings on the ring except a satin finish on the outside. I thought it could be silver but I have never had silver so low down on the snartfind screen.
Does anyone out there have an idea as to what the metal could be. It is none ferrous and seems quite strong.

Well done on the ring .

How wide is it and if you put a picture on i would be able to tell by its weight .

It could be white Gold or Platinum or even Palladium but that depends on size.
