"Ring Tabs Thru the Ages" Section?

'Just saw the BBC "Detectorists" show in which the local club has an "Open Day" ( similar to a USA Open House" it seems). Among the tables was one with a big label, " Ring Tabs Thru the Ages", showing a vast collection of what we'd call Pull Tabs.

However, I haven't yet been able to find a similar section devoted to Pull Tabs on this site! Are we going to let those Brits " out-collect" us?

Great show can't wait till next season.

On Dec 9th, 'msareborn' did a post showing ring tabs through the ages on the Todays Finds Forum..its an interesting read about how to date a site by the tabs!...

I also love that Detectorists show!

Thanks for the info, Mud... I wondered about the guy checking out each tab with a loop and then citing a date... I've never looked that closely at a ring pull myself.
