Dick O'Kane was the Commanding Officer of the USS Tang SS-306. While under his command the USS Tang sank a Train on the Japanese Mainland. The only submarine to ever sink a train. Dick O'Kane was awarded the Medal Of Honor. USS Tang was sunk by one of her own torpedos..
