Ring metal question

New member
Found this ring a few weeks ago. It looks to be a real antique ring. Looks like silver and rings in at solid dime signal in my Garrett 250. That is where most of my silver ring finds have been but there is no mark and I did the saliva test and does not pass.It also cleans like silver. It is a very hard metal, not easy to bend but am wondering what it could be now. Any clues or tests I can do to find out. It passes the magnet test.
