Ring Man Went Swimming For His Ring This Time :bouncy:

Went out to a county park next to a small fishing lake today. Worked all over the beach area and found a few coins then started in the water. Kept going until I was getting my shorts wet (wish I had of brought my trunks). Found this nice 925 Sterling in THREE feet. Also found a penny and a dime in the water.

WTG Bro. Now you are a certified water hunter. Now you have to buy one of those $1000 water proof machines, a long handled scoop, wet suit and ................

Spend some time around the water forums, Roscoe. You wil give up all that summer time dirt digging, real quick. Figure out how to splashproof your ACE, as John B. has done, and you may be onto more than you know.

In one week and about three hours total, I have found 6 rings, three of which are gold - with non-water detector in the shallows. One was silver, and I am having a jeweler friend hammer it into a flat band. The others were costume, but Lori likes them anyway. This doesnt count the earrings and bracelet I turned up. Along with my partners ring finds, that makes a total of 8 rings from one small beach in a week. This is a beach we hunted hard TWO weeks ago.

I took a ride to that same beach today and there were so many people there you had to walk on them. The 4th is coming too - guess where Ill be on THUR morning?

It is a fact that many, if not most rings, and other good water finds, are found in water less than waist deep. I have kept data to support this and most long-timers agree. SUmmer time is WATER HUNTING time!
