Ring makes belltone

In detecting Sunday this mans ring made a belltone on my CZ-21. It is 24.5 grams,14K gold and it totally suprized me that it made that sound. I dig those targets anyway because I like big suprizes underwater. After countless boat anchors, two real guns and lots of toy guns, cans and other large objects I still love finding suprizes. I sure wasn't expecting a ring to do that though!!

Anybody else have a ring or coin throw your underwater machine a curveball?

As an experienced CZ20 user, how would you describe the performance of the CZ21, by comparison? Would you say the performance is about the same as the CZ20 or different?

I would say about the same. I have a small issue that might not be one so I won't comment now. I only have a CZ-21 because they changed it when I sent it in for repair. I never use the pinpoint button so I can't comment too much on it. I do hipmount my machine and sometimes I accidently touch that button and my machine goes into pinpoint mode which is anoying but I am getting used to just touching it again. I have loved my machines from the day I got the first one. I have always sworn by them. Deep and deadly. Hiding rings don't stand a chance!!

On your earlier post, if you can't see in the water your playing in diving might be a challenge. I dive in 0 vis water because I know where my coil is and exactly where to dig the target. When I get it in my hand I put it in a mesh bag, hold the top shut and swish the bag around until only the target and some rocks are left. Sometimes I never know what is in my pouch until I get out of the water.
