Ring cleaning info & ring error

Anybody got any advice on cleaning rings or other jewelry? I soaked some of the jewelry and chains I found in the last few weeks and discovered I actually had 5-10K rings instead of 4. It's so thin it looked like part of an ear ring. One of the chains that I had found that had Italy on it also had 925 on it so I have the two sterling silver rings and this chain and all are 92.5 % silver. I'd like to clean these rings and chains up better and maybe have a jeweler look at them.
Several of the rings have stones in them and I would like to get a quote from someone who knows what is real and what is just costume jewelry. I noticed Kellyco had some ultrasonic jewelry cleaners for sale. Anybody know anything about them and if they are worth buying? I could really use some feedback.
I wanted to go dirt fishing yesterday and today, but my Mom had an appointment yesterday and she was too sick to leave by herself and then I planned to go bright and early this morning, but she was throwing up and when she finally got to feeling better, we got a front moved in with quite a bit of wind and rain. I've been praying for rain so I can't complain. HH everybody.

Ultrasonic cleaners can clean jewellery very well, BUT!!! There are many gemstones that should not be subjected to ultrasonic waves because they can crack, shatter, become discoloured and composite stones can come apart at the glue line etc.

Emeralds and opals are prone to cracking and shattering because they contain healed fractures and also the colour of opal can change.

Have a read here for more info:

Thanks for that link. I read on this post for some time today and it's a lot of help. Sure glad I asked before trying to clean anything.
