I have not had time to hunt recently but today I decided to head to my old Fair Grounds. I was almost there when I saw a Pickup backed up to a house that just did not look right. This was a very old House that had been for sale for some time. I slowed way down not wanting to stop because I was not armed. A guy came walking out kind of quick and I could tell something was wrong. Turns out it was the Owner and someone had just stolen two AC Units from the House. I got out and talked with him and he knew me. I had him call the Sheriff's Office to make a report. While we were waiting on the Deputy he asked me what I was doing in the Neighborhood and I told him I was heading next door to MD. He told me I was welcome to hunt there. I got my Machine and started hunting. I skipped over all the Zincs just digging what I thought might be good coins. I found several Nickels and Dimes. Some of these could be Silver. This area is very old and known for large Fairs prior and during WW II. I found a Key to his House and John Deere Tractor. I also found this 10K Gold Ring and this what looks to be a Good Luck Coin. It says Girls on front with a Horse Shoe and on back it says Good food. As I was leaving the Owner made the comment that I never made it under the Clothes Line in back. Told me I better hurry because he had an offer on the House. Hate good people like this are victims of crime.
