Ring and 50cal shell at the beach

Found on the Beach Sunday. Cobalt diamond ring and 50cal. shell casing marked Remington arms 1944. They have renourishing the beaches here so who knows where the shell came from. If it had been in the water since 1944 would have looked a lot worse than it does.
 
Last year I found the bullet at the beach. It is a 50 cal armor piercing bullet. Had to be pumped from off shore when they last renourished the beach. Congratulations on the nice ring.
