Ring-a-ling-a-ling

Yesterday I found my 23rd,24th, and 25th ring. The 25th is a 14k gold wedding band. My very first gold ring!!
And although I wasn't useing my Garrett at the time, the ring was right there at the pulltab range on the disc.knob. And when I bench tested the ring at home on my 250 it was also right there at the pulltab notch.
Hmmmm
The ring nearest is the gold one!

Nice finds!!

Where do you find rings? Parks & Schools??

I have never found a ring. My guess is that I am looking for older coins so I am searching old homesteads and wooded areas.

My wife would love it if I came home with an occasional piece of jewelry, instead of a bunch of dirty old coins & relics. Maybe she would encourage me to get out more!!

They are where they are. I have found rings in the most unlikely places, but your best bet is to find a swimming beach, freshwater or saltwater. Water shrinks fingers, add a little suntan lotion, rings fall off. High schools are usually good places, too, but you will mostly find silver ones there. Getting access to public swimming pools that have grassy areas are also good. If you can't get inside the fence, work along the outside, right up against the fence with a Sniper coil.

I found all mine at Shools and mostly parks. A couple from family yards. Everytime I go to the park where I found the gold one I score a ring! I like that park. And it's fairly new too.

I lost a gold nugget ring almost just like that one, only mine had diamonds and a topaz(?). It was my wedding ring. Its been gone for about 10 years. Hmmm. Incintive to check my yard more. Been living here 14 years. Now that I detect... maybe I can find my OWN ring!!!
