Ring a ding, all my dug bells...

I've seen pictures of sheep with crotal bells, and they were the round ones. I would guess probably any farm animal could have worn them?

Impressive to say the least. Why not get a leather strap and attach a few, do a video of what they sound like.......NGE

Congrats. One of my favorite things to find. You have a great collection going. I just found my first bell like yours that looks like a small version of a church or school bell. Very cool! Thanks for sharing.

wow! great finds...I also do old fields and woods around here but no bells yet.

Nice collection of crotal bells.........a few years ago, I saw a magazine article of a guy who mounted all his crotal bells on leather straps............made a nice display on his fireplace mantel.

I'LL BET THAT THE SIGNAL HAS A SPECIAL "RING" TO IT, TO BE ABLE TO FIND THOSE BELLS...........NGE

Real nice bell collection Terry - congrats ! :beers:

Santa must have crashed near you! You need to send them back to the north pole.

Recently some of our club members have been hunting around an old 1845 Farmhouse and we found 4 Crotal bells so far. Very nice collection!
