Ring# 7---and guess what I found in my tumbler?

I have been MD'ing over the last few days. I mainly have been in clad territory. I spent an hour looking for a RC helicopter part my dad lost in a crash over a trash dump that was under his side yard. He said it was aluminum because a magnet won't stick to it. Wrong. it was a 1" long stainless needle with BB's on each end. I took the other one off the helicopter and the Ace would barely make a chirp. My dad said it would be like looking for a needle in a hay stack. I said no it would be like looking for a needle in a steel wool hay stack. The low conductivity made it impossible to find.
Took my daughter to swing at the playground at a grade school. I only got three good targets. Two quarters and a child's gold plated ring in bad shape. The ring hit on foil. The breath test says it's a diamond.

I find some bad looking coins. I try to scrape it with my finger nail to see what it is. Memorial cents go into the tumble. Well this came out.of the tumbler
It is a 1902 IH cent that was also in bad shape and the tumbler didn't do it any good.

This is my mystery coin. It is copper or brass. slightly larger than a cent. I can see little markings besides the scratches, but can't make out anything. Nothing I did will clean it up anymore. It has been in peroxide for days. This is both sides.

Nice but I don't think a real diamond would be in such a cheap pleate setting. Unless it is real old. There is a fake type diamond that will pass the breath test. IMHO, it's a Rosco, but a ring is a ............well you know the rest:thumbup:

Great stuff as always. I like the ring even if it's costume. I asked a long time ago if anybody ever had anything interesting come out of their tumbler that they didn't identify. Got a lot of answers that mostly were of the how could that happen I identify everything in the field. Happened to me. 80 quarters went in and 79 quarters and a UK 10 pence piece came out.
