Ring #21 Soccer field and DeLeon

Just got back from a long hunt, started about 8:00 am lot of ground to cover at these fields. Hunted almost nonstop except to get a drink or a snack. Started out at the kiddie fields hunting the side lines you could still see where see grownups set up their chairs to watch their kids play, this is the area that I pay the most attention to. I will cover these areas slow and carefully and dig all signals there is always lots of clad and more than enough pennies to keep one busy. After about an hour or so in the kiddie fields I moved to the larger fields on about the third pass on the sideline I got a high foil signal that read at 15 on the D after a little poking and prodding I hit something pulled a small plug and there in the middle I saw gold it was a very thin gold ring minus the stone. As I have read here many times sometimes the stone will be in the hole well I cut a little bigger plug and bagged it to take home I have the whole thing soaking in water so it will break up easier, sure hopes the stone is there but I wont get my hopes up to high as the ring looks like it was hit with something. All in all it was a good day found three rings one junk one of the new stainless steel ones everyone is wearing and the small gold one a small angel pendant and about 6.00 in change. Well thanks for reading good luck to all and ................Keep Looking Down:detecting:

Large stones with flat bottom, like onyx, can get popped out of the ring by the frozen ground. Sometimes mens rings that have a thin but wide band split right at the bottom when soil freezes.

Congrats on the very good hunt! It sounds like you are doing great on the rings! That is a nice total for the day. Good work, Beale.
