The DeLeon is nothing but trouble it gives you aches and pains and callouses on your hands your knees and and a sore back from digging ALL THOSE TARGETS! And what do you get in return? MOUNTAINS OF COINS, OLD SILVER AND RINGS.............RINGS........RINGS!:hot: I got out for a short hunt this evening my son is up from Ft. Carson for the weekend but he went to dinner with his girlfriend so instead of sitting at home I decided to go to the ball fields down the street for a while. It has been very dry here for a while so I started hunting in the outfield of the first ball field I was using the cleansweep coil hoping for lots of targets quick and the D was up to the task. the deleon was hitting nickels hard and after a handful of clad I moved to the bleachers I circled around the bleachers and ran the coil under them as far as I could reach and found more clad. As I was working my way between two field along a fence the DeLeon hit a good signal foil in the 7-10 range I looked down and there sitting in the dry grass was a ring at first thought I said junk but when I picked it up and looked inside it said 10k how sweet is that a 10k white gold ring with three different stones, that is the first white gold ring this year and the second ring I did not have to dig up. After I finished my cha ching cha ching its a ring dance:wiggle: I hunted for a while more and found more clad after about half an hour I called it a day and a good one at that. So whatever you do, do not get a DeLeon I don't want the competition:lmfao: Anyway here's the goods from today short hunt.
30 pennies
7 nickels
4 dimes
7 quarters
1 10k white gold ring

Nice collection, and a great ring to boot , but we're is the army towel at? Kinda has come a trade mark for ya!

I got it for Christmas last year from my son and I use it most the time except when looking for deep silver. i was just adding up my clad totals for the year the cleansweep costs 169.99 this is my coin count to date.
2862 pennies 28.62
421 nickels 21.05
755 dimes 75.50
574 quarters 143.50
-------------------------------
4612 268.67

Yup I think it pays for itself and I still have maybe two months to hunt still.

When you first used the cleansweep coil did you send your deleon and have it recalibratedfor it? If not do you feel the coils are matched close enough so swapping doesnt bother the deleons performance thanks otie

Beautiful ring Phinbolt! Congrats.

Yep, I sure love my Deleon. Great machine for coins and rings, and it gets very decent depth too. I tend to think of it as Tesoro's sleeper machine. It came out...got panned over in the reviews and never seemed to get a great following. Which is fine with me, the fewer out there the better for my finds. LOL!
