Had a pretty good week last week went to visit the in laws they live about 20 miles away in a very old town so I figured at the price of gas why not hunt for a while after the visit. There is a high school football field I hunted for about 3 hrs there was plenty of clad coins and a few Wheaties on and around the field. There is posts with a cable through them that goes around most of the field so I figured anyone taking off a jacket or sweater would just throw it over the cable. That hunch paid off big time I was finding coin spills every few yards or so. Bout halfway up the field I got a strong shallow silver target, popped out a small plug and sitting in the middle was a nice large sliver ring. Then on Thursday went to the local park and was hunting around the edges of the soccer field when I got a very strange reading on my DeLeon it jumped wildly from iron to silver and everything in between almost the way it reacts to a magnet as the grass was very long I parted the Grass and sitting on top of the ground was a large mens ring. At first glance my thoughts was Platinum I picked it up and it had some weight to it and looked inside and it says Triton Steel it looks like surgical steel or some fine steel. So I looked it up on the web and found one just like that Zales jewelers sells for around 100.00. It is a very nice looking ring and my son has already claimed it as a thumb ring as it is pretty big. Well thats it for now thanx for reading.......................And Keep looking Down....:detecting:
