Rick ND could you possibly post your premium general setup

setting for the Minelab Sovereign XS 2A pro. I know I'll have to tweak the settings for my ground/ and site locations, but I would like to have an optimal base setting to work from.
Also could you send me a price list on your Sunray products or if possible, a price list of your metal detecting equipment and accessories.
Thanks in advance.

My set ups on all my Sovereign are pretty much the same, I run no disc or very little, no notch and being you have the XS2a I would never run the single tones as that defeats the purpose of this detector. I run with a slight threshold with the volume at max and adjust my volume on the headphones, but the detector is full volume. The sensitivity for me is set at the 10-11 o'clock position, but those that are new I recommend the auto as I feel they need to learn the tone more than trying to get max depth. That is pretty much how I set my Sovereign and I just go slow and listen close to the tones and how they repeat. Once you have used it for a while many things come natural and you can swing it right along and know the first sweep over a target if it is trash or one you want to check out more. The threshold has to be coming and going, if not you are going too fast and have to slow down the sweep speed a little.
Any signal I find that is weak sounding, but the tones are trying to climb along with the meter numbers, but just cant quite make it too are one i want to dig. If the numbers lock on then it has ID the target, but when in doubt always dig.
Pinpointing I always do the 90 degrees turn on any that are not surface and most of them I will get the general location then use my S1 probe to find them.
Other than that most you will learn from experience with it, the more you use it the more you will understand it and the better you finds will be.
I really don't have a price list made up yet, but if you have a question or need a price on a item just give me a PM and i will get back to you. As you notice it took a while to day to answer your post, that was because I just got off work in my Bar I own.

I wish I could run mine at 10-11 O:Clock...

More often than not I have to run my sensitivity at 3:00 or more or in auto, there is so much mineral in the ground here. Now and then I find a place where I can run it around 1:00 but rarely higher.

Run it where it works best.

Don't worry about cranking it up. Many times it is the wrong thing to do. Around here, 11 o'clock on my 2a and 12 o'clock on my GT are optimum.
Sometimes the dirt and/or noise don't allow these settings and must run lower.
Above optimum good targets sound bad, nails start pinging with positive response, meter readings go bad, and detection depth goes to crap.
I find that the setting that allows me to raise the coil the highest without losing the target is "optimum", and gives the best tone and meter response. You might try this. May work or not for you.
Nearly passed up a couple coins because I was running at max sens without falsing or nulling because the hits sounded like a weak iron gremlin. Backed off to my favored 11 o'clock setting and nearly blew my headphones off with a perfect LOUD tone and solid meter reading. The coins were around 3-4" deep. Will never again run over 11 o'clock without testing for optimum setting again. Would do this at any strange location just to verify what the Sov wants.

So don't worry about your sensitivity setting as long as your Sov likes it.
