RG 1000 vista scores some silver

Active member
in a well hunted out place managed to get this standing liberty quarter which i have'nt found in three one years and was about 7 to 8" deep

Great find and i dont think it will be the last silver coin you will find with the Vista rg 1000.:bouncy:

i tell you what the disc works so good on iron i have'nt dug one iron nail yet, now on the other big deep iron i have but i'm amazed how well that 11" coil works on small stuff my god takes forever sometimes because the pinpointer won't even pick it up sometimes, i can honestly say this is the best beep and dig machine i've ever owned, the disc is the best i've ever had machine is very easy to distinguish tones the only drawbacks are its a little heavy and coil covers are not available yet but other than that i'm very satisfied!

Mine will be here next week. Relic season is coming to an end. Should have time to see what the Goldbug and AT Pro missed in heavy iron.

Nice find, does it have a date? most of the ones I have found the date is wore off.

from different angles ive looked at i'm thinking it says 1924 but i'm not certain becuase i think i scraped it when i made the plug but anyways i picked up on a pocket spill to yesterday 1 1942 war nickel and 3 wheat cents, and learning with bottle caps there is a tiny clip at the end of the swingalmost as smooth as a coin but not quite, getting to the point where i can almost tell before i dig but sometimes i don't chance it and dig it anyways because you just don't know sometimes?

Haven't spotted any new hunting reports regarding your current views.
