I inherited a broken bayonet that my great aunt passed on to me many years ago. Her first husband bought or found it in Boston during their yearly history vacation. This was in 1940. She told me it came from Bunker Hill. I cannot verify that, but can verify that they had this artifact in their possession in 1940. She also had a cannon ball that my step son sold or lost.
