General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

review on Minelab service

As some of you know, my ctx 3030 has been @ Minelab for roughly a couple of weeks now. It had leaked in the battery compartment area was in need for an overhaul. I just got a phone call/email from Minelab today.

I was not sure what I was going to hear about "servicing" my detector. Heres the story....Minelab said there were just too many issues with servicing sooooooo
they are just going to replace the detector and its on the way to be here next week. I was thinking that would be the proper thing to do but did not know what to expect. I am very happy about that.

In sum, we have all heard things about service etc....I have to say....this is the second time... Minelab has given me extremely good service.....and just did what needed to be done. I have to say....Minelab did very good things again!:clapping:
 
When a 3 year old CTX leaks, then it can't be fixed? Your detector - under warranty was not economically reparable, but per the warranty they had to make it good.

Good on them - they honored your warranty.

Don't ever buy an out of warranty water detector!

As Minelab promised my NEW ctx 3030 got delivered today.....with some extras! Even delivered a day early. Thanks again Minelab for the good customer service and consideration.
 
Their service is better than ever. I sent my 5000 back it was cutting off about ever 45 mins. they tested it and replace the main board and sent it back. Very happy with there service. I own four of there detectors and really like Minelab. Glad they are improving there service. Got a lot of $$$ invested in Minelab.
