Reverse Discrimination with the explorer? TIP>>

Some of you like me, have used the reverse discrimination procedure with your sovereigns quite successfully. At first thought, it wouldn't seem practical with the explorer since the pinpoint signal disappears before the coin signal as the target gets deeper.
However, I was hunting in heavy grass and alfalfa and having trouble getting the coil close to the ground. Constantly hitting the grass gave me lots of falsing. So I started to hunt in pinpoint mode.. I could hear signals much easier and then switched pinpoint off to check to see if it was a good target. Like with the Sov, the area can not be too trashy..
Just another option to keep in your arsenal for when it is appropriate!
Good Forum .. Keep the tips coming!!!
