Went with Kevin to lake St. Clair to the same place where Greg found his Trade dollar. Was finding the newer clad and a few wheats and THEN got a good signal, fanned my hand and saw the eagle!! Boy was I excited, LOL Until I turned it over and saw Eisenhower and the date 1972! BOY was that a letdown and a good laugh!! It didn't register the eagle was newer because I don't spend too much time looking at my finds.
Ohh well a good laugh. I found an oar lock, a 1959 metal boat plate. a small Bayer asprin bottle and a Bayer asprin metal tin that I didn't take pictures of.
A Detroit Daredevil, a brass heal plate and a small brass ring were my other finds.
7 wheats, and newer clad were my coin finds.
