Rev. War Button...

Hey folks...I thought any of you guys interested in Revolutionary war buttons and relics might appreciate this button. I can't believe a button that is 225 years old came out of the ground looking like this.

The shank is still there even.

"The Kings 4th American Regiment"

unfortunately *haha* I did however find this site, and took my buddy for a hunt there with me. Oddly enough, that day I found 2 1700's coins, and 1 1812 coin...along with about 15 flat buttons from the Rev. war period.

My buddy found one button...guess which one!? *haha*

Still, it is a beautiful button and I'm glad I was there when he found it.

Did you manage to get out before the snow fell Chris!?

You, Rich and myself never did get a chance to spend a day doing an arrowhead and relic hunt. Hopefully as soon as the big thaw happens we can all get out.

Naw, I have'nt been out for a few weeks and unless there's a real surprise with the weather then I'm done for the year.

Rich is still fixing up his mothers house and has another issue going on now. I've just had something happen thats going to eat up a lot of time and money.

Chris

I know what you mean...I'm quite sure the season is over here too. Under 8" of snow in some areas here *groans*

Hmmm....something that eats up a lot of time and money...you're getting married? *haha*
