Just had to go back to the Big City to try for some redemption after the last attempt (thread below "worst hunt ever"). Got off to a fantastic start after finally finding a place to park right next to a curb strip so might as well start right here???? First target dug right next to PU was the '12 barbie!!!! Of course I struggled the rest of the hunt but got some redemption. These are expensive coins with the trip, motel, gas etc. so I'll probably stay around Podunk for awhile but it was real nice to liberate some Big City silver and take it back home to Podunk....lol Did I mention that I LOVE the Etrac and it's ability to sniff out the stuff the others left behind....amazing machine!!!!!

Far as the expenses, its a hobby! People spend hundreds on golf clubs, fishing gear, boats, camping trips, etc.

Finding silver is pretty straight forward with the Etrac.....especially with a battery in it ! nice diggin..my buddy and I are going to be coming through your neck of the woods in a couple of months...we should try and do a hunt.

Finding silver is pretty straight forward with the Etrac.....especially with a battery in it ! nice diggin..my buddy and I are going to be coming through your neck of the woods in a couple of months...we should try and do a hunt.

Yeah....that battery makes all the difference in the world between a good hunt and no hunt....lmao!
