I went back to the vacant 1860 farm house I have permission to hunt. This was probably the best day I've had so far. Started with just a '66 quarter but then things started coming together. I've already got several silvers from this property including 2 beautiful Barber quarters a few months ago. Today's firsts included: Crotal bell, Barber dime, V nickel, flat button, Large cent, and Barber half. I knicked the half but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. It pinpointed funny, I thought I was back far enough after I pinpointed with the X-1 but I guess not Also had an Indian Head in the hole with it - the first IH I've gotten from this place. The tally for coins was:
1902 Barber Half
1904 Barber Dime
1916 Merc (plain)
1854 (or 52??) Large cent
1902 V nickel
1898 Indian Head
1937 Wheat penny
1916 Wheat penny
