Results of my last Gulf Coast Beach hunt

Not much change. Found a girls purse containing her Drivers lic. & get this her Bank debit card. This girl is screwed. Tried to call her home phone # No answer all day. Took it to the desk of the Motel near where I found it. They said it happens all the time. No answer at her room. Passed out maybe. Next found a Apple I Phone buried at the Volley Ball Net. My wife got his Dad's no.# off the Menu. He said he didn't know his boy to drink. I told him "Out of a cast of thousands who were, I'm sure he wasn't." The boy called when he came to & picked up his phone at our Motel' office. I'll tell you if Fla. had a deposit on beer cans, I'd just leave my detector & pick cans. Heading back to the Land of Mud & Snow but I got a couple of Lakes to hunt when it warms up.

So all in all it was a complete waste of time eh? I know you hit it hard, I bet you walked 20 miles swinging coil huh? What would you do different if you could go back? Later in the year? what? It was sure a lot of fun to watch you from a distance by reading your posts! Thanks Dancer!:clapping:

a little over $60 in change, a small gold earing, a silver cross, a five dollar bill. What killed it was the new sand they pumped on the beaches just before I showed up. The good hunting starts the day we check out. Bus' loads of spring breakers. Hunting all of March would be the ticket BUT our room, [2 queens- bath kitchen & balcony] goes from under $30 a nite to $200 a nite. So it's a no brainer- we had a good run but it's over. All in all as far as hunting I'm way ahead for the yr.if I'd stayed home. Back home I'm mostly on the Garrett users forum but I got a couple of lakes to wade so I might have a post here once in a while.
