The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

I have the following Research Books, from my personal library, for sale. Excellent condition from a non-smoking home. All of the books are Hard cover with mylar protected dust jackets. "Bloody Trails Along The Rio Grande - The Diary of Alonzo Ferdinand Ickis" - By Nolie Mumey. $40.

First Edition 1st limited edition, #418 of 500 copies, signed by Nolie Mumey, excellent condition, with an excellent, protected, dust jacket, published by The Old West Publishing Company, Denver, 123 pages. A day by day dairy of Alonso Ferdinand Ickis, [1836-1917], a Union soldier, serving under Colonel Edward Canby, and Christopher "Kit" Carson with his Mexican Troops, relates his day by day activities with Company B; The First Volunteer Regiment to leave the Territory Of Colorado for active service during the Civil War, with a graphic description of his participation in the Battle of Valverde, New Mexico. The frontispiece is a tipped in photograph of Alonzo Ferdinand Ickis in his Civil War uniform, also there is a large fold out map in the rear of the route followed by Ickis during the Civil War.

After its original publication, it quickly became a standard "must have" book, one of the most widely known and widely acclaimed books about Colorado. This fourth edition, incorporating extensive revisions and additions, continues its reputation as the most thorough guide and story available of the Colorado ghost towns and mining camps.



"Westward The Texans - The Civil War Journal of Private William Randolph Howell" - By Jerry D. Thompson. $20.

Fine First Edition Hardcover in Fine protected dust jacket, Illustrations, Maps, Bibliography, Index, 184 pp. Private Howell's journal of the events he lived with the Sibley Expedition into New Mexico in 1861-62 - the Battle of Valverde and also Glorieta Pass - and the long retreat back to Texas. Outstanding notes by Jerry Thompson.
