Requesting your expertise in ID'ing this ? coin / ? pendant / ? metallic content

Today, I returned to where I found those other two 1800's coins...working my way eastward a small section at a time.

Hunted dry and wet sand; found this mysterious item in dry sand..gave off a high silver signal, but not sure & I don't want to clean it if it is a valuable coin.

Any help in ID'ing from anyone would be deeply appreciated.
