Having done a bit of coil research, I'm actually considering purchasing a Joey coil from Coiltek. It boggles my mind that Coiltek coils are not waterproof.
So, here's my question: If I get a non-waterproof coil and accidentally get it wet, will it just damage the coil, or can it damage both the coil and the detector?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge on this.
