went to 2 houses that I have pounded over 5 times each. Have used every coil know to man. Used a V3i, Etrac and F75ltd2. The difference this time was my new pattern file I created. It was amazing. I found 25 pennys, 6 clad dimes, 5 clad quarters, 1 merc 1944, 2 wheats, and a 1931 dog vac tag. I believe I am on to something. I was using a tornado coil in high trash and iron and still pulled a 1944 mec out. It rang out among the trash and did not null out. I believe the etrac has been solved for me. Look forward to pounding more old sites I have already been to. The proof is in the finds. 38 total coins found.

Any info on what pattern you made to help in the garbage?

I made it myself. Based on reading about others patterns and figuring this machine out. I used to be an Intelligence Analyst in the service. used that skill to figure out the best pattern. Send me a PM with your Email and I will email the pattern file to you. The attached pic is the pattern.

I tried your type of program but there was lots of Iron falsifying. I decided to move the Fe line up to 25. Also have a few included blocks for gold coins. This program worked twice as good for me. This was the first time I never dug up any rusty iron targets. I only dug a couple pieces of alum that was shaped like a coin and read like a coin. Dug 1 square tab that rang up 12-33.

I to got way too much iron. I went to 25 myself but seemed to lose the deep iffy targets. I have compromised now to FE27. Seemed to do alright so far. There has to be a Sweet Spot.

sweet spot must be between 25 and 27. I have the FE set on on Reject on 25-35. Also I have reject on CO from 01-28

Have 2 people request my pattern. Will see how they do.

Ok,well,I replicated the pattern as close as I could to my Explorer2 and even with the 12" Sunray I can use it in a super trashy filled part of my old local park and it STILL picks out coins. The only ones I found were no deeper than 6" and they were all modern but I have not extracted ANY coins out of this area in literally two years because it's such a miserable SOB to hunt in there running wide open. After 30 seconds my head was ready to explode before, but this will be a very valuable tool to be able to hunt CERTAIN places with a semblance of sanity. I've used it for about 45 minutes so far in this one area and have retrieved several Zincolns,a few pre-82 coppers and the one lonely quarter was the deepest around 6". Not only that,it was a freaking STATE quarter! How it got that deep in that area is frustrating but at least it's a viable area now. Thank you Kurt and others who have contributed to patterns like these, one day I will be able to pass this stuff on when needed.
To add, making patterns like this,I would imagine, would be a great idea to tailor to the site and types of commonly found trash in each one. THIS one happened to work well in this spot, but may have to be adjusted or opened up some in other places. That is always up to the operator to determine where they are and WHAT is there as far as trash goes.
So far so good!

Sounds like it is pulling coins. Most coins that I pull are 6 inches or less. Will continue to work on this program and see what pops out of the ground. Going out tomorrow and see how it goes for a second time.

here is my more open version. Might be able to get more depth. This program is a work in progress.

Thanks for the pattern. I hope to get around to using it this wk. I have something standing in my way called work lol. I've been hunting this old school for a few years now. Every so often it will give up a coin or two. It has most metals known to man. If I can pull one coin out of here I will be very happy.
