Talk about stuffing 10lbs of pork in a 5lb bag! The whole thing is like support hose for your entire body! Though I havnt been to a doctor in years, I'm pretty sure he would diagnose me with a self inflicted case of Wheatbelly, or Pusgut, or maybe even Dunlaps disease! (If you cant see your winkie unless standing naked in front of a mirror, you probably have it too!):heh:

Anyway it worked very good, as did the new blue headphones Garrett sent me....(thanks Mary!~Garrett service top notch:thumbup:):)....the wire is a lot longer than the old blue ones I had, they sound a bit softer too...
Was a huge storm today at dawn, big wind and sideways rain, trees down, sand blowing across the road, hard to even drive, lightening and huge surf...wearing my Underarmour long sleeve shirt under the Farmerjohn 3mil wetsuit and swinging the Pro, I was snug as a bug! Found some clad and all the right kinds of miscellaneous scrap...thing I wanted to know is would this wetsuit be perfect for running from sand to surf and more comfortable than waders or just shorts, and it was! I suspect it will help me finally find some Gold and maybe even lose a pound or 30 by the end of the summer..both of which I need to do in a bad way!...Without this gear and the Pro, nobody would attempt a hunt in this kind of weather!...Truly all terrain and all weather machine this Pro is...

Sounds like a good thing, to me. How do you keep from losing your pro & scoop? Got them tethered to you? I definitely need some better footwear.

Glad Garrett took care of you and the wetsuit has to fit tight to work correctly. I will get hot coming out of the deeper water during the summer when I get a wetsuit or just rent it again. If you lose a lot of weight, you'll probably have to get another wetsuit. I've lost 20 pounds in the last few months and have about 40 more to lose and will continue to rent until I get where I want to be. When I used it in February, it was bitter cold with wind gusting out of the North West at the river like crazy and I was toasty warm. If I had a hoodie that day, I would probably have walked out until I was submerged to detect. When it's lightning, I chicken out. HH.

Yeah Dgruff, the Big Lake was way too rough, so I went in between the breakwalls on the channel side to try it all out...Fongu, we have been having big storms freight training in all night since 2am, lots of lightening, way too much to go out this morning early...I'll see if it settles down and get out hopefully...good on you for dropping some weight! seems getting in the water helps, for me, cold water takes all the fat off in a hurry on account of a guys body has to burn it all or freeze to death...

I needed a good laugh this morning and Mud, you delivered.

Glad to hear that you're all set for the season, Mud! Now we won't have to worry about hypothermia, just the giant great lakes sharks and polar bears! The extra weight is for buoyancy -- yeeeeeaaahhhhh, dat's da ticket!!

I picked up some wetsuit boots and waterproof headphones this week, just in case I find a puddle to hunt here in New Mexico. Trouble is, I can't seem to reach my feet to put the darn things on - my legs must be getting longer or something...

Geez, if cold water burns off fat, I best head for the tundra, and rapidly. Of course, after I finish the raisin sour cream pie my sweet spouse made me for fathers day. Hang in there mud, sun is coming up your way. HH jim tn

Sounds what my doctor diagnosed me with. Sir, you have chester drawer disease. How did you know I moved furniture for a living I asked. I didn't, but your chest has fallen into your drawers and things will never be the same. You ought to see me putting on the 3X wetsuit. That's comical, taking it off is hilarious. Not to me, but everybody else thinks so.

I've considered some neoprene but I'd never get it over my food bag.
