Replacing The Foam Grip?

5900_XL-1

Well-known member
Anyone replaced their foam grip on their Etrac? How's it done? It appears to be a solid piece, not showing a glue seam?

That's a bit of a bastard deal there...I cut the old worn one off my Explorer2 and replaced it with a really nice expensive baseball bat grip. Actually...2 of them to make the thickness work out.

Isolation tape...

It is I replaced mine with a neoprene grip from ebay much better than stock and a cover over that from ebay..

Rather than replacing grip with the foam type I found that using a replacement grip tape for tennis rackets work well. It has enough cushion material to make it comfortable to use for long periods. One piece of advice is to wash down the handle with a good cleaner then wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol before wrapping the new grip on.

Paracord wrap works great for Me.
My hands are giant so I left the worn foam grip in place to add girth on the handles.
About 2 bucks for both machines.
