I know to get the replacement from White's. My question is...can the existing one be removed or the new one just put over it? I may be getting a used one that has a few scratches. Thanks, Robert

You must remover the old screen first, The new vx3 / V3I screens are pretty cheap, like $5 Bucks on Ebay, why bother with a used scratched one?

Thanks for the reply. I may be getting one soon and it does have a scratch. What gets me is I see people posting pics on the screens of the detector. Oh well, do whatcha gotta do!
