Awhile back I sold my CZ3D (1021) and man do I miss it. I sold it to
grab one of those machines from France. That machine is AWESOME!
Down the road though I just miss using it as I had alot of time with her.
The last one was DEEEEEEP. I was finding barbers at over 10 inches
.Since I got rid of her I haven't dug anything that deep in awhile.
I would run her hot with some falsing but she would go deep.
I found a deal on a like new one hardly used and I'm not
letting this one go!!! I love the CZ3D. I will send her to NASA Tom
and let him perform his magic on it. My Best gold ring find ever
was in enhanced mode and that baby rang as a HIGH tone and
when I saw Gold I was doing the happy dance. A day to remember.
We had a club hunt here one day and I went back because some good finds were
being made.Thing was someone got tired of all the tabs and gave up as I could tell
someone had been digging plenty there. The CZ3D came along and WHAMO,
a high tone and out came 8 grams of gold w/rubys and small diamonds.
So Moral of the story is If you got a 1021 CZ that's hot, "DON'T SELL IT" !!!!

As quickly as most technology becomes outdated, it's downright amazing how the cz-3d still is one of, if not the, premier detector for old coin depth

Newer detectors can do better when it comes to unmasking, but not when it comes to depth. And that sweet analog cz sound can't be beat either.

I agree with what you guys are saying. If you sell a stable and deep cz-3d, you'll probably wind up later wishing you hadn't.

I have a 1021 and boy does this machine pull out the oldies. I'll never get rid of mine either.

Can't Tom mod a cz6a?

Tom can calibrate a CZ6a to CZ3D specifications. I have one of my personal detectors that he converted for me. It's a sweet machine...John
