repairing damaged belt buckle??

vinegarstroke

New member
Hi all,

I recently found a cricket belt buckle (C1850-60) that I creased badly with the shovel. The buckle is brass and is not heavily corroded. Its appearance has been so adversely affected I am inclined to attempt to straighten the buckle. What is the best method to do this? Are there professional repairers?

Cheers, Bryan.
