is it true that garrett does not repair their older machines? i have a garrett freedom 1cdc a freedom 2plus and a freedom 3 plus and a gta 1000.they repaired the gta and updated it about a year ago.i never had ant problems with the freedoms but i still use them and like them better than some of the newer models.pain in the butt changing batteries but still some of the best coin hunting machines made.

I'd say e-mail Garrett and get it straight from the horses mouth on their repair policy. I'd think that they would stand behind any of their machines, if at all possible.

Contact Mary Penson at Garrett for the straight dope.
