Renew my confidence. Is the Sovereign a great multi purpose machine?

First off, I love my sovereign.
Now that the winter is coming, and I start to obsess over detectors. I want to hear some reinforced feedback that the sovereign GT is a good land detector as well as a beach machine. I hunt old coins, jewelry, and relics when they are found.

Thanks so much

I just bought a Sovereign so I'm still a rookie. I can say that I took it out of the car, turned it on, and went out and started finding stuff in the wet sand within the first 5 minutes of using it. I love it and am really happy I have one.

I have been detecting for 15 years, currently own 9 detectors and I am in the market for a GT right now. From all that I have read, and the reports I have seen from other users, it is one heck of a machine. If it is good as my Excal. it will be a fantastic machine.

Today I found a junk peace symbol at the beach and that hole was so deep I had to let my son finish digging it, rough guess 14" down. Before that Pulled up a blue jean zipper pull from around 9" in shallow surf.

when you put a WOT coil on your SOV/GT,,,incredible depth for small Gold rings on the beach:)

Oh yes it's a fantastic land detector. In fact I am 90% land hunter and 10% beach hunter and the Sovereign series is great for the normal coin and relic land hunting. I have always looked at the Sovereign as an Explorer without all the bells and whistles. I think it's a fantastic all around machine.
