Remember that first day out w/ a BBS detector........

Read the book before I turned it on. Didn't need it after that. Just had to listen close, play around a lot, and dig a lot of junk.

We can look back and laugh now, but at the time we wondered "what did we get ourself in for" Those that stayed with it have some nice finds, those that didn't missed the fun we have had and the coins we have found..
 
I agree, Digging the junk is the price of learning!!!!
I just got a new job and will buy a GOOD digger.
